The Department of Justice wrote in a letter to Congressional leaders delivered Sunday that Special Counsel Robert Mueller concluded that neither President Trump nor anyone in his campaign conspired with Russia to influence the 2016 election.
Attorney General William Barr released a 4-page memo outlining that Mueller stated Trump did not commit a crime and had no conclusive proof of obstruction of justice.
However in true “deep state” fashion, Mueller also provided fodder for House Democrats to continue to harass the President, with Barr writing that while Mueller’s report “does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him.”
Mueller’s attempted coup of President Trump ended on Friday when he gave his final report to the Justice Department and AG Bill Barr with no new indictments.
Barr sent a letter to Congress on Friday confirming that Mueller had free rein to investigate and do whatever he wanted — Mueller was basically King of the Justice Department for almost two years.
Trump allies quickly declared a rightful victory.
But horrified Democrats simply won’t quit. Using the “can’t prove a negative” approach, House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) sounded off on his fake “investigation” without end:
