Today’s shameful dismissal of all charges against hate crime hoaxer Jussie Smollett by the Illinois State Attorney’s office just took a major turn into politics.
And this has the Obama Mafia’s hands all over it.
The Chicago Police Union want a federal investigation into Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx’s handling of Smollett’s case after text messages revealed she was communicating with a top aide to Michelle Obama and Jussie Smollett’s relatives and supporters about their concerns over his case.
A Smollett family friend named Tina Tchen sent Kim Foxx an email saying, “Hi Kim – I sent an email to your work address I think as well. I wanted to give you a call on behalf of Jussie Smollett and family who I know. They have concerns about the investigation. I am on an 8 am flight to nyc but please call me before then. I land about 1015 Chicago time. My cell is [redacted]. Many thanks!”
Tina Tchen was Chief of staff to former First Lady Michelle Obama, who is reportedly close with the Smollett family.

In one text exchange with a Smollett relative, Kim Foxx is reassuring them she spoke to the superintendent and asked for a favor. “I’ll keep you posted, “Foxx said in text. “Omg this would be a huge victory,” the Smollett relative said in response. “I make no guarantees, but I’m trying.” Foxx replied.

Kim Foxx later recused herself from the case.
Despite the reams of evidence against Jussie Smollett the Cook County State’s Attorney dropped ALL 16 CHARGES against Smollett on Tuesday!
Smollett left the court today and LIED, telling reporters racist, homophobic Trump supporters beat him in a cold Chicago street.
Did the Obamas improperly influence a criminal Grand Jury case? the Chicago Police want to know.

From PJ Media:
“Once again, she’s throwing the Chicago Police Department completely under the bus, which she’s been doing for the last two years in office,” Martin Preib, second vice president at the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), told PJ Media on Tuesday. He argued that Foxx had never truly recused herself from the case, since her “underlings” remained involved.
“What’s the difference between her recusing herself and her underlings having the case? What really has been recused here? Nothing,” Prieb declared.
Preib compared the action to the Obama Administration:
“The weaponization of the criminal justice system that we saw under the Obama administration through to this Mueller investigation, this attack on Trump, Foxx falls right in line with that — undermining the criminal justice system and turning it into a political advocacy outpost for the left,” Prieb said.
Preib said this was only one of many cases under Foxx that were dismissed that they found objectionable.
He said the local media had not looked into much of what they have said in the past about her and that he hoped that they would do that now, given the national attention.
