CNN’s Chris Cuomo had a conversation with an illegal alien, with the help of a translator, about why the man decided to come to the United States.
Prior to the segment, Cuomo had spouted the usual talking points about “migrants fleeing violence” and “saving their children from gangs” in their home countries in Central America.
But then the CNN narrative collapsed when he started asking questions — and the answers only proved what President Trump has said all along.
“Is he here to work or is he here for asylum?” Cuomo asked the translator.
“He wants to work but if he gets asylum he’s willing to get asylum,” the translator told Cuomo.
“Why did he take his kid with him to come here if it’s just to work?” Cuomo asked.
“It’s what you and I were talking about. He says that if he comes here with his son then he’s allowed to stay,” the translator responded.

The illegal alien confirmed what President Donald Trump and the Republican Party has said for the past few years: illegal aliens are coming to America for jobs, not because they’re truly
And, that children are being brought across not for their own safety, but as a human shield to guarantee easy entry for the adult accompanying them — whether or not they are even related to them.
Cuomo could not have been pleased by this failed attempt at propaganda.
He has violently disagreed with Trump’s take on illegal immigration for a long time. Just look at some of his tweets on his Twitter feed and clips from his show in just the past week:
It will be interesting to see if Cuomo and CNN’s public relations team can spin this to fit their narrative. Somehow they’ll try to blame this on President Trump. Bet CNN will start thinking twice before they ask these kind of questions on live TV, especially if there’s a possibility that the person they’re interviewing with buck their narrative.
