New Impeachment Poll Spells Doom For Democrats

According to the most recent polls, the American people do not support the impeachment of President Donald Trump.

Despite these polls, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi officially announced impeachment proceedings against President Trump based off of a politically biased ‘whistleblower’ with a second hand account of a phone call between President Trump and the President of Ukraine.

Even after the release long awaited Mueller report, and the current mania over Ukraine, the American people seem to agree that impeachment is not the way forward.

This also makes clear the electoral dangers to Democrats insistent on plowing head-first into it.

Breitbart reports: “Since July, polls have showed that at least half of American voters have opposed beginning impeachment or an impeachment inquiry… Recent polls show that the testimony of former Special Counsel Robert Mueller in late July did not even persuade voters to change their opinions on impeachment. Democrats are betting that this latest issue will — but a look at previous polls is not promising for them.”

Check out the polls below:

Even thought the President clearly did nothing wrong, House Democrats have started an impeachment inquiry into President Trump hours before the transcript between President Trump and the Ukrainian president was released which goes against the very claims that started the impeachment inquiry in the first place.

The memo started with President Trump congratulating Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on his election win. Shortly after the introduction, President Trump brings up Vice President Joe Biden and how he abused his power to fire a Ukrainian prosecutor who was investigating his son.

“There’s a lot of talk about Biden’s son, that Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that so whatever you can do with the Attorney General would be great,” Trump said in the call. “Biden went around bragging that he stopped the prosecution so if you can look into it…It sounds horrible to me.”

Zelensky then suggested to President Trump that they would appoint a new prosecutor. “He or she will look into the situation specifically to the company that you mentioned in this issue, the issue of the investigation of the case is actually the issue to restore the honesty so we will take care of that and we will work on the investigation of the case.”

President Trump told Zelensky he would like his lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, and Attorney General Bill Barr to be involved.

“I will have Mr. Giuliani give you call and I’m also going to have Attorney General Barr call and we will get to the bottom if it. I’m sure you will figure it out,” he added.
