A video of a Chinese manufacturing worker in an exported-goods factory was posted to Twitter showing the man contaminating medical masks.
The footage was released the same day New York received a large emergency batch of face masks from China.
On the same day as this video was posted to Twitter, an article released by NPR reports New York received an emergency shipment of the critical masks.

It is not known whether this Chinese factory was involved in the production of the supplies sent to New York.
