CNN Editor Says Joe Biden May ‘Step Aside’ For Kamala Harris Once Elected

Joe Biden would be 78 years old when sworn in on Jan. 20, 2021, should he win the presidential election.

President Donald Trump was 70 when he took office, the oldest in history after President Ronald Reagan, who was 69.

But would Biden even serve a single term as president? Disturbing whispers are appearing in the press hinting that something else is clearly at play.

CNN editor-at-large Chris Cilizza suggested that Biden could potentially “step aside” to elevate his new running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris, alluding to the idea that Biden may not finish his presidential term, if elected, according to Breitbart News.

He wrote (emphasis added):

“At 55 years old, [Harris] represents a younger generation of leader — something that Biden, who will be 78 on Inauguration Day 2021, said was a major factor in his choice.”

“What that all means is that Biden wants the race to be about him as little as possible.”

“What Biden did is make the pick that maximized his chances of continuing to make the race a straight referendum on Trump while also selecting someone, in Harris, whose resume suggests will be ready to step in if and when Biden decides to step aside.”

Biden’s announcement of his running mate was worded in truly bizarre way that suggested Harris might be expected “to lead this nation starting in January 2021”:

“I’ve decided that Kamala Harris is the best person to help me take this fight to Donald Trump and Mike Pence and then to lead this nation starting in January 2021.”

What the heck? Does Biden intend to be sworn in at all? We simply don’t know.

But an astounding number of Americans don’t believe Biden would ever serve a full term.

“The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 59% of Likely U.S. Voters believe it’s likely Biden’s running mate will be president before the end of Biden’s four-year term if he wins this fall, with 39% who say it’s Very Likely,” the pollster wrote on Monday. “Thirty-five percent (35%) consider it unlikely that Biden’s vice presidential choice will be president before his four-year term ends, but that includes only 14% who think it’s Not At All Likely.”

“Even 49% of Democrats think it’s likely Biden’s vice president will become president in the next four years, although that compares to 73% of Republicans and 57% of voters not affiliated with either major party,” the pollster wrote.

The younger the voter, the more convinced they are that Biden is unlikely to finish a four-year term if elected president. But most voters in nearly every demographic category think it’s likely his running mate will become president in the next four years.

So either way you slice it — Democrat electoral sleight of hand — or Biden’s senility forcing a 25th Amendment changeover in mid-term, this election is now all about Kamala Harris for President, a VERY different conversation than the “running mate” chatter being presented to the American people.

And being that Harris is the #1 most far-left Senator, one of that body’s most inexperienced members, who has absolutely no executive experience under her belt, the idea that she could be President in just a few short months presents a very dire state of affairs for the United States of America.

One we pray the Trump campaign is taking very seriously.
