Firebrand Conservative activist turned GOP Congressional candidate Laura Loomer has won a stunning upset Tuesday night in the Florida Congressional district that President Trump calls home.
The “most banned woman in the world” pulled out a shocking win against a Republican establishment which universally opposed her for months, but had, in recent weeks, shifted to being less antagonistic towards the right-wing candidate as a result of her performance in polls as well as fundraising efforts.
Decision Desk called the FL-21 for Laura Loomer at 8:02pm on August 18th, just over an hour after polls had closed:
Loomer was given “no serious chance” of victory by the same outfit just three months before.
Loomer was banned by Twitter for daring to go after leftist darling, anti-Semitic Muslim Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) over Omar’s refusal to denounce oppressive Islamic Sharia Law and Female Genital Mutilation (FGM)…
Laura tried to fight her suspension, to no avail, and what followed was an unprecedented silencing of Loomer by Big Tech oligarchs.
After Twitter, Loomer was kicked off Facebook, PayPal, GoFundMe, and other platforms for her fierce and controversial criticism of Islam. She was even banned from using Uber or Lyft for rides!
In December, Twitter announced that they would be verifying all congressional and gubernatorial candidates to “level the playing field.” When asked by The Gateway Pundit
Loomer’s campaign website explains that by keeping her off the platform, Twitter is providing her opponent with a “significant benefit.”
That is an extreme understatement. The U.S. Department of Justice should immediately order Twitter to reinstate Loomer, or face criminal charges of “election interference,” a felony.
Loomer has previously worked as an undercover journalist for Project Veritas and is best known for conducting ambush interviews and staging political stunts to call attention to the issues she is concerned about. Her campaign website notes that she has confronted Hillary Clinton, Chelsea Clinton, Huma Abedin, James Comey, Maxine Waters, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, Michael Avenatti, Tim Kaine, Linda Sarsour, Alyssa Milano, and former DNC chair Keith Ellison.
