In a wild video going viral across the fruited plain, a police officer is trying to apprehend a suspect on a apparent assault or sexual assault charge, and the perp resists arrest.
The cop is White, and the perp and bystanders in the area are all Black.
The officer — who no doubt needs better training, gym time, or backup — loses control of the situation. And then something happens we are NOT used to seeing on CNN. The citizens step up and take the perp down themselves, wrecking him until another cop arrives.

RIDICULOUS! A perfect example of how some people can take a hit! How many men were on that guy? The cops have to use force & yes, guns. The guy wouldn't comply. GMAB! You don't want to comply, then the consequences may be worse! Luckily, those men could help!

Officers, like this one, need more training. He couldn’t take this guy down for one and could’ve been hurt or even killed if no one else was around. And here’s a solution: FUND the police rather than DEFUND.

And the officer that comes in at the end? He can’t tell the big man is helping his colleague? His first reaction is to get in the guy’s face.

Found some irony in that.
