ABC’s daytime show “The View” may be soon looking at co-host Joy Behar’s retirement.
In an interview for the just-released nonfiction book “Ladies Who Punch: The Explosive Inside Story of The View,” Behar mentioned retirement plans.
“I have a three-year contract,” Behar said. “But that doesn’t mean I can’t leave if I want to because they can’t really do anything to me at this point. It could be any day now.
“I don’t see myself staying for more [time]. That’s it! I could be wrong. If I’m as fabulous as I am now, I’ll think about it. But the chances of that happening…You know, time marches on. I’m not a kid.”
Social media users have expressed relief and joy due to Behar’s negative attacks on people she disagrees with.

In May 2020, Behar called former President Donald Trump a “disgusting racist,” and she suggested anyone who supported him may also be a racist.
When reports of Behar’s possible retirement were swirling in 2020, an ABC representative attempted to throw cold water on the suggestion.
“This is not true,” the representative said. “Joy was asked what happens at the end of her contract and as she herself made clear in the interview, if she’s ‘as fabulous in [2022] as I am now,’ she will be in her seat at the table.”
The fact is that many viewers find Behar’s hate and vitriol far from “fabulous.” Removing her spiteful comments from the airwaves might not be the worst thing.
I think they need a whole new panel. I’ve tried watching and only last a few minutes. They are all angry hate-filled people.

I don’t understand how this show is aloud to keep going??. They are a bunch of loud mouth,women who do nothing but disrespect and degrade the American people!!, they are Racist, I Hate These Women.
I think that she no longer has her heart in her job to bring comedy to topics, but instead brings hate and vitriol. Whoopee has the job of bringing intelligent discussion, but falls short, as she never has had a full college degree, she has only attended the school of hard knocks, even her name is not Jewish, just a made up stage name. THE INTENTION OF THE VIEW was to have different views of what is going on, not to turn everything to racist, devisive, hate filled comentary. I say kick everyone off and start over, while you still can. Ask the fan base who they like on the show and for who they would like to see before your hosts quit and go elsewhere and start their own show or spin off shows. The driving force for them has, and will always be, about money!
This show was one of the Biggest Mistake anyone in Hollywood could have made. These female. (can’t call them Women, because like MEN, it take Character to be a WOMAN, they are ONLY Females “XX”). They LIE, Spew Hatred and false doctrine and influence the UNINFORMED to go out and cause MORE problems than we already have in our society. disgusting people. All of them. Sadly, SOME people hang on every word. Disgustingly.
